Welcome to the Brandi K. McPherson Foundation. We are committed to helping children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, Ewing's, and other forms of cancer.
Osteosarcoma is a rare form of bone cancer that develops most commonly in young adolescents while their bodies are rapidly growing. Advances in medicine have dramatically increased the survival rate of this form of cancer, but the illness takes a large toll on those who suffer from it and their families. The Brandi K. McPherson Foundation works in many capacities to lighten the load.
BKM makes lemonade! BKM welcomes newly diagnosed Osteosarcoma & Ewing's patients undergoing treatment in the Dallas area with a welcome carrying bag. The bag is filled with individualized items to help make the patient's hospital and chemo treatments more bearable as they battle the fight against cancer. The Hospitality Team works with the families and patient to find out what services could be most beneficial and supportive to them at such a difficult time.
