Welcome to the Brandi K. McPherson Foundation. We are committed to helping children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, Ewing’s, and other forms of cancer.

Osteosarcoma is a rare form of bone cancer that develops most commonly in young adolescents while their bodies are rapidly growing. Advances in medicine have dramatically increased the survival rate of this form of cancer, but the illness takes a large toll on those who suffer from it and their families. The Brandi K. McPherson Foundation works in many capacities to lighten the load.

Established in 2007, the Brandi K. McPherson Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports children and adolescent cancer patients, focusing particularly on those diagnosed with osteosarcoma and those who have suffered a loss of a limb and are now amputees.

The foundation, based in Dallas, Texas, was born out of efforts to raise money to help Brandi K. McPherson financially purchase a prosthetic leg after an above the knee amputation to her left leg in May of 2007. The efforts’ success led to the founding of the BKM Foundation. Brandi, whose leg was eventually amputated above the knee, works closely with her friends in the battle against cancer. The foundation works to provide help for young cancer patients any way they can.

Mission: The Brandi K. McPherson Foundation is a  non-profit organization (est. 2007) that supports young adolescent and adult cancer patients, focusing primarily on Osteosarcoma patients. Diagnosed in 1995, Brandi is a survivor of Osteosarcoma and an above the knee amputee.
